Welcome to Canine’s Halo. By using our services, including our website, drone search operations, and any related communications, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please read these Terms carefully before engaging with our services. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

Service Overview

Canine’s Halo provides aerial drone-based search services as well as ground-based search service, primarily focused on locating lost pets using thermal imaging and other advanced technologies. Our services may include free or paid search operations, depending on the nature of the request and location.

Eligibility for Use

By using our services, you represent that:

You are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.
You are legally permitted to enter into binding contracts.
You provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information during the service request process.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide complete and accurate details about the lost pet, including photos, behavioral traits, last known location, and any medical conditions.
Be available for communication during the search operation.
Follow safety instructions from Canine’s Halo team members, including staying away from restricted search areas unless explicitly invited.

Service Limitations and Disclaimers

No Guarantee of Success: While Canine’s Halo uses advanced technology and experienced drone pilots to recover lost pets, we do not guarantee that the pet will be found. Various factors including (but not limited to) terrain, weather, temperament of the animal and/or time elapsed since the pet went missing may affect the outcome.
Limited by Legal and Environmental Restrictions: Our drone operations are subject to federal, state, and local laws, including FAA regulations. We may not be able to conduct operations in certain areas or during certain weather conditions.
Service Availability: The availability of Canine’s Halo services may vary based on location and operational capacity. We do not guarantee that service will be available at all times or in all areas.
Service Fees: While some of our search flights are performed free of charge, others may incur fees. These fees will be communicated clearly before services are rendered.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a scheduled search by notifying Canine’s Halo at least 4 hours in advance. If a paid service has been arranged, refunds for cancellations will be granted at the discretion of Canine’s Halo and will depend on the timing of the cancellation.

Canine’s Halo reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a search due to adverse weather, safety concerns, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, any prepaid fees will either be refunded or applied to a rescheduled search, depending on user preference.

Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

No Warranty: Canine’s Halo provides services on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of our services for any particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Canine’s Halo, its employees, or its operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use or inability to use our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of pets, emotional distress, or financial loss.
Force Majeure: Canine’s Halo shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, governmental actions, or technical failures.

User Conduct

When interacting with Canine’s Halo, you agree not to:

Engage in any unlawful activities or violate any local, state, or federal laws.
Misrepresent or provide false information about your pet or its circumstances.
Use our services for any fraudulent or malicious purposes.

Intellectual Property

All content provided by Canine’s Halo, including but not limited to logos, website content, images, drone footage, and other media, is the property of Canine’s Halo and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission from Canine’s Halo.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in connection with your use of our services.

Third-Party Links

Our website or communications may include links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for your convenience and do not imply endorsement by Canine’s Halo. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third-party sites.

Referral Program

Eligibility

The Canine’s Halo Referral Program is open to:

Individuals who are at least 18 years of age.
Existing Canine’s Halo customers or anyone who has a valid account with us.
Residents of the United States, unless restricted by applicable laws.
Animal welfare organization registered with the State of Texas.

By participating, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements. Canine’s Halo reserves the right to deny participation to any individual at its discretion.

How the Referral Program Works

Referral Code: When you sign up for the Canine’s Halo Referral Program, you may be provided with a unique referral code or link.
Making Referrals: Share your referral code/link and/or refer by any other means with friends, family, or anyone who may benefit from Canine’s Halo lost pet recovery services.
Successful Referrals: A referral is considered successful when a referred individual:
- Uses your unique referral code/link and/or attributes the referral to you in our contact form at the time service is requested.
- Completes the required service request process (which includes filling out the intake form, payment for applicable services, and confirming their service engagement).
- The service is successfully delivered to the referred individual.
Referral Reward: Upon successful completion of the referral, both the referrer and the referred individual may be eligible for a reward, as outlined in the program’s promotional materials (e.g., discounts, credits, or other benefits).

Referral Rewards

Reward Details: The specific reward for each referral (e.g., a discount, free service, or cash reward) will be outlined in the program’s promotional materials.
Reward Limits: Canine’s Halo reserves the right to cap the number of referrals or the total rewards a participant may earn.
Reward Issuance: Rewards will typically be issued within 72 hours of a successful referral, provided all eligibility and program conditions are met.

Prohibited Activities

Participants in the referral program agree NOT to:

Use spam, bulk emails, or any form of unsolicited communication to share their referral link/code.
Create multiple accounts or identities to abuse the referral program.
Mislead or misrepresent Canine’s Halo services to potential referrals.
Damage Canine’s Halo brand.
Interfere with any marketing or promotional campaigns.

Any such activity may result in immediate disqualification from the referral program, forfeiture of rewards, and potential termination of your Canine’s Halo account.

Termination of Participation

Canine’s Halo reserves the right to terminate your participation in the referral program if you violate these Terms of Service or any applicable laws. Canine’s Halo may also terminate the referral program at any time, with or without notice, and without liability for any previously earned or unissued rewards.

Taxes

Participants are responsible for any taxes that may be due on referral rewards earned through the program. If required by law, Canine’s Halo may issue tax forms (e.g., a 1099 form) for any rewards exceeding the applicable threshold.

Modifications to the Referral Program

Canine’s Halo reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program at any time, for any reason. This may include changing the rewards structure, adding or removing eligibility criteria, or making other adjustments. Any such changes will be communicated to participants through email or on the Canine’s Halo website.

Privacy

By participating in the Referral Program, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. This may include sharing information with your referred individuals for the purpose of confirming referral status or eligibility.

No Warranty

The Canine’s Halo Referral Program is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Canine’s Halo makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or success of the Referral Program or the availability of rewards.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Canine’s Halo, its employees, or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the Referral Program. This includes, but is not limited to, lost rewards, lost opportunities, or any other damages arising from changes to or termination of the program.

Disqualification from the Referral Program

Canine’s Halo, at it’s sole discretion, may disqualify any referral or referrer from the program. The purpose of the program is to spread awareness of the service and of Canine’s Halo brand. If any individual referral or referrer is deemed to be operating outside the spirit of the program, the referral or the referrer may be disqualified from participating in the program and any unpaid or unclaimed awards will be forfeited.

Disqualified Entities

Canine’s Halo may disqualify any entity from the program at any time at it’s sole discretion. Additionally, the following entities are expressly disqualified from participation in the program:

Administrators and/or moderators of online animal welfare groups and/or forums.

Reward Credit Expiration

Any earned or accrued rewards must be claimed or redeemed within 45 days of issuance. Any rewards that are not redeemed within the validity period of 120 days are forfeited. Canine’s Halo will not be required to send notifications or reminders regarding unclaimed rewards or points that are about to be or have already expired.

Changes to the Terms of Use

Canine’s Halo reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated terms on our website or through direct communication. Your continued use of our services after such changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms of Use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Travis County, Texas.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canine’s Halo, its employees, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of our services and/or Referral Program, your violation of these Terms of Use, or your violation of any third-party rights.
