We rely on thermal imaging technology that works independently of ambient light and remains unaffected by rain, fog, or smoke. This allows us to continue the search even in the toughest weather conditions.
Visual Optics
Our drones are equipped with optical zoom cameras capable of 200x hybrid zoom, which can identify animals as small as rabbits and squirrels from as high as 200 feet in the air. This precision ensures that no pet goes unnoticed, even in hard-to-reach areas.

At Canine’s Halo, our mission goes beyond bringing the most cutting-edge technology to the animal rescue world. We aim to make our services accessible to as many pet owners as possible while maintaining a sustainable operation.
Through our Compassionate Flight Program, we set aside a portion of each search into a dedicated fund aimed at offsetting or subsidizing costs for individuals who may find the full price challenging. The availability and extent of these subsidies are subject to funding availability.

Technology to aid the search. We’ve flown by request of prominent Austin street rescues, providing technology resources where and when it is needed most. We provide the aerial and ground support for the amazing men and women on the ground.
We are fully equipped for independent ground operations. In addition to our advanced aerial and ground thermal equipment, we have best-of-breed versions of standard street rescue equipment such as traps and cellular trail cameras. Our suite of animal search and rescue tools is unmatched in the Austin area – by a far margin.
